If you're like many people new to Google Cloud, you've worked with other public clouds in the past.

Join this event on August 24th for a friendly, factual, non-competitive exploration about what's different in Google Cloud - intended to help people more familiar with AWS and Azure overcome initial hurdles and accelerate their cloud journey.

You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions and receive answers live.

It’s amazing, @malamin , that they are doing this sort of explaining to people who are more familiar with AWS and Azure. And let’s be honest here, this is very clever as indeed, when in cloud business, the majority is multi-cloud.

And of course I also remember your other relative topic about this 😎

I think that, as the original description that you pasted says: “a friendly, factual, non-competitive exploration”. Therefore, I don’t expect all of this marketing-istic “we are the best, come over here!”. People who work multi-cloud do have judgement and Google Cloud knows that very well.

I believe this is more for those who are expanding to Google Cloud services as well, when they already have experience from other cloud providers, to have a smoother joining in. When you already have knowledge and comprehension in cloud technologies, it is easier to comprehend familiar concepts.

They will explain the differences of some aspects of Google Cloud. OF COURSE I expect them to have some selling points as well, but I do believe this will be a more realistic and straight to the point approach.

We will see of course! 😉
