How to migrate Windows based processes to GCP services

Hello --We have a legacy process, built on Windows, which I’m trying to figure out how to migrate to a GCP service. I’m not sure what GCP process would be best to use and hoping the community here can point me in the right direction.It essentially calls an API which generates a CSV report, then downloads it.The process connects to a WCF-based service via https. Currently it does so via a simple app created in .NET, C#, and Visual Studio. The app is called via batch file with parameters passed toindicate the endpoint/report on the remote server and indicate the folder location on the Windows server to save the CSV fileMy questions areHow can I replicate this process in GCP? Can the CSV files be loaded into a database with add’l attributes (e.g. date of report generation) or do the CSV files need to be stored in a storage bucket?I’m probably missing something but don’t know what I don’t know. Thanks in advance for any help!

Monetize Client Consumption on GCP

Hi,We are an LA startup called Aspy building an AI platform to generate custom mobile and web apps. For the infra we support all major clouds and choose one depending our client’s choice. Some of them of course go on GCP. I’d like to know a a bit more on how we can monetize the consumption since I know if we bring a customer to GCP we get rewarded based on how much they use. Have I saved my work or not?

Dear Anyone.I’m new to Google Web Designer and website design in general, making one for a friend and learning on-the-fly! So there might be a couple of stoopid questions along the way - this one’s totally cringeworthy.I’ve setup a page in Google Web Designer. I’ve CTRL:-S saved it. Clicked on the X to close the program down so I can do something else - and it’s asking “There are unsaved changes in your work. Do you really want to exit?” So I chose “SAVE” from the menu, went to exit again and got exactly the same question from the program.Why’s it telling me I’ve not saved stuff when I just chose SAVE twice? I’ve even tried SAVE AS and given it a different name for the second version, which is exactly the same as the first, just to see if that made a difference. It doesn’t. I’m still being told there’s unsaved changes in my work.I’ve got to close out of it now anyway because I’ve not got the world’s most powerful computer - most people will have more powerful I-phones these days, I

AppEngine Auto Scaling

Hi everyone!Here's a question: We want to move our AppEngine service from being manually scalable to being auto scalable. By doing this, we found that, when there's not enough traffic to our app, the instances are moved to sleep mode. We tried to avoid this behavior and still get auto scaling by having a cronjob that pings our server every certain minutes, just as a "keep alive" solution to this problem. Is this the correct solution to avoid having sleep mode instances, and always have at least 1 active instance, or is there a better option ? Thanks!

Cloud Run on Anthos

Hello-I deployed a service on Cloud Run on Anthos GKE cluster with internal only VPC access. This service should not be exposed externally to the public. Deployment was successful. But the domain name mapping for the service is by default providing the GKE cluster external IP. This kind of beats the purpose of deploying the service on Anthos to limit the access to internal VPC.I did some workaround by creating a Cloud DNS with private zone and created record with Cloud Run mapping of the subdomain and assigned the GKE internal IP for the service. In the cloud run, the service is mapped to the domain mapping but with the external IP. The domain validation fails as there are no external DNS record updated for the subdomain. But, now I can access the service internally, but the stackdriver log for cloud run service doesn't show the calls made internally. Thanks,-Mali

It works by reading Audit Logs from various sources and sending them to Cloud Run services as events in CloudEvents format. It can also read events from Pub/Sub topics for custom applications.Eventarc now supports a new Cloud Storage trigger to receive events from Cloud Storage buckets! The benefits are:No Audit Logs means there’s no need to enable them and therefore there is no latency Filter by bucket is supported.
