This free guidebook will provide “a concrete action plan for implementing recommendations using Google Cloud’s DORA research to initiate performance improvements.” (from the included article). 

The first chapter sets the stage for the remaining chapters of the book. It provides information on DORA, the Capabilities Assessment, and some initial steps to take to improve your company’s performance.

I’m looking forward to reading the next chapter!

the first chapter is so insightful. Especially the numbers they shared. 1.8x and 1.6x more likely to meet or exceed your business goals!

Great ending! How to improve.

  1. Find your true north
  2. Measure your current performance. This reminded me @ahmedtariq1’s post about Metrics to Deliver User Happiness. 
  3. Set a target
  4. Select an area of improvement and improve.

But how easy is it in a company to do that? Does it depend on the size of the company? Does it depends on the level of their DevOps team? Is it a combination of them?
