Deploying Helm Charts in GKE Private clusters

Hi Expert, I have provisioned GKE private clusters using Cloud Build and Terraform and I would like to validate the Build Architecture that I am setting up.Could you please tell me what is the Google recommend approach to deploy helm charts? using Cloud Build through a VPN connection (as described here: https://cloud.google.com/architecture/accessing-private-gke-clusters-with-cloud-build-private-pools) or using Cloud Deploy? https://cloud.google.com/deploy/docs/overview - Using a VPN between Cloud Build and GKE seems to be mandatory and I am not really fan of this. Is the Artifact Repository able to pass through official docker images since I want to make sure that all images have been analyzed? I haven’t seen the option yet and I am afraid having to implement a third-party solution.Best Regards,Ludovic

AWS Re:Invent Attendee Feedback

Hi All,I wanted to ask if any of you as C2C community members who are multi-cloud with AWS had a chance to attend re:invent 2022 this year just a few weeks ago (either virtual or in-person & paid for a ticket)? I’m curious about your experience post-pandemic at the event, how it was different from this year vs. prior years if you have gone to more than one re:invent, as well as what value AWS offers that Google Cloud Next has not done as well that is a catalyst for you to attend (and that Google should consider for 2023+? i.e. hands-on workshops, training, certification, leadership & team training, expert content, beginner content, roadmap sneak peek sessions, etc.)Any and & all thoughts or feedback welcome. Create thumbnail of video in Firebase with Google Cloud function

I’m trying to create a cloud function to create a thumbnail image from a video uploaded to Firebase storage and save the thumbnail image as a .PNG with the same name as the video and in the same folder in Firebase.I’ve tried several different solutions without any luck.Create thumbnail of video in Firebase cloud functions Google cloud function to generate thumbnail from videoIs there anyone that could lend a hand pointing me in the right direction on how to achieve this? Thanks in advance.

GKE

Hello,I am trying to create a cluster and deploy my application using GKE.I already have a cluster in place and it's fully functional, but when I created another cluster and tried to create a deployment after success pods are not appearing in the workload dashboard. But using “kubectl get pods” shows the pods with ready status 0.Any idea what is going wrong?

Will an app that requires sensitive/restricted scopes need to be fully reverified if new scopes are requested?

We are building an app that indexes material from different sources to help users see search results from all their apps in a unified flow. This requires some sensitive/restricted scopes from Gmail and Drive.If/When we decide to add Google Calendar, will the whole app need to be resubmitted for verification or is it enough with only the new scope(s) added?
