Using Google on an Android phone, is there a way to manually have Google cycle the stories displayed? I use Google from my Android phone and it used to cycle new stories based on my interests many times every day. It cycled too often for me.Then about 4 months ago it changed and started cycling new stories about once every day. Over the following 4 months it gradually decreased the cycle frequency so now it cycles about once every 4 days, sometimes 5 days. The other problem is that it displays 3.5 stories. I can scroll through the list of stories and see the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stories and half of the 4th story. If I scroll down further to fully see the 4th story Google aborts. I can touch each of those stories (even the 4th) and it brings up that story where I can scroll fully and then exit back to the 3.5 stories but on the original screen I can only scroll down to see half of the 4th story. If I scroll further Google aborts with NO error messages displayed. Months ago, after this cha

Hi there! As you may know, I am building Noty - platform transforming video calls into actions. We are strongly focused on building product people want, but are also struggling with finding the right way to test our product on a scale. If you have, or are building product that integrates with Google Workspace product, what distribution channels have you find most effective for you and why?
We have so many wonderful online collaboration tools at our fingertips right now--more so than at any other point in history--and yet, are you and your team really talking to each other? In the recent Future of Work event, Greg Sly mentioned how important it is to discuss issues around diversity, equity and inclusion, as it can actually increase team productivity. Who doesn’t want that? I was so curious what your diversity, equity and inclusion experiences were out there. Please share below!

New Drive Beta that support Folder moves to Shared Drives. (Woohoo) https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2021/09/new-beta-experience-for-admins-to-move-folders-to-shared-drives.html Moving folders from My Drive to a Shared Drive has been a problem, this is due to the Folder ID’s being changed as the move process actually creates a new Folder, and then moves the files. So when admins move folders, the existing folder IDs change, existing links to these folders can break, and impacts on shared drive limits are unclear. Google has just announced a new Drive beta, were folder IDs will not change and moves that can potentially exceed any shared drive limits will be rejected. This beta will add several usability enhancements including: Retaining folder IDs (“copyless moves”) to reduce disruption due to the move Preventing moves that would exceed any shared drive limits Reparenting any unmovable items under the item owner's My Drive root, and creating shortcuts in the existing hierarchy
We recently were asked to deploy Exclaimer Cloud Signatures to a Google Workspace with multiple domains and have a different signature on each domain, with different logos and designs. After reaching out to Exclaimer they said it couldn't be done... I am very stubborn and didn't like that answer, so I solved it. I made a video that might help you if you have the same issue. And I hope it helps someone.
Do you know if you are sharing files the right way? Tricent is co-hosting a free webinar next Thursday where @chanelgreco, Google Workspace Educator and C2C Community Manager, will reveal how to solve the 5 biggest sharing concerns in Google Workspace.Shared Folders vs. Shared Drives? Should you use Shared Drives? How do you go about the sharing permissions? Can you prevent others from re-sharing your sensitive files? How do you deal with the “Shared With Me” situation? How should you manage your shared files and folders? Sharing files the wrong way could lead to some serious (and expensive) consequences - such as GDPR penalties or data leakages. So don’t wait until something happens. Be proactive instead. Hello Team,I have configured a SAML 2.0 app with Google IdP with Primary Email as Attribute mapping. While doing a Test SAML Login it shows following errors: Error 1: As per this artifact (https://www.jfrog.com/jira/si/jira.issueviews:issue-html/RTFACT-10242/RTFACT-10242.html), it mentions the idpid and SAMLRequest needs to be combined with symbol “&” instead “?”Existing URL : https://accounts.google.com/o/saml2/idp?idpid=abcd1234?SAMLRequest=xyzChanged URL: https://accounts.google.com/o/saml2/idp?idpid=abcd1234&SAMLRequest=xyz Error 2: While changing to “&” it shows 403 error. Google IdpID = abcd1234 is properly configured on SP side. SAML Tracer shows “GET” request failure on Google URL - https://accounts.google.com/o/saml2/idp?idpid=abcd1234?SAMLRequest=xyzAppreciate any insights.Thanks.
Just read this article Zoom Won’t Stop at Video Chat DominanceIt says thatZoom’s share of the video-conferencing market rose by 10 percentage points to 76% in the June quarter from the March quarter, with sales growth rising in each of the three months.and thatit seems large technology companies are giving up on trying to beat Zoom. For example, Alphabet Inc.’s Google Meet recently added a one-hour cap for non-paying group calls. The end of the technology giant’s unlimited free service for three or more users could drive additional customers toward Zoom. What do you think?
Hi everyone! In my past role, I saw firsthand the unexpected costs of transitioning from one suite of products to another (namely, Microsoft to Google). There was total licensing costs for the users, then there was the SAML costs, then there was the issue of who should and should not receive Google Enterprise...needless to say, the savings from changing from one product to another got smaller and smaller…. What would you have suggested as a better approach?
Hi,We have joint mailboxes for departments (sales, finance, purchase) and moving from Outlook’s shared inboxes, this probably hurt the most.We are having 50% of the companies using delegated mailboxes (requiring extra licenses) and 50% on HiverHQ (GW+HiverHQ-license, and this is so expensive and bad, that I really want to replace this asap). So I just wanted to poll people how they handle external/internal collaborative mail, please share any comments on your setup below :)
We have recently written a number of articles over on www.patronum.io about email signatures and this got me thinking about the whole thing about email signatures. As a partner we’ve worked with many organisations, and I’d like to think we’ve seen it all. From centrally controlled email signatures, to every one for themselves approaches and everything in between. So I thought it would be worth creating a poll to see what others are doing.
