Blocking bad actors from one’s Google Drive is definitely an update that was much needed!
We all enjoy collaborating in Google Workspace, but sometimes we might end in the unlucky situation where bad actors wrongfully leak or modify your (sensitive) shared files.
But with the new update, a blocked user will not be able to:
- Share files with you in the future (e.g. spam or abusive content)
- Access or leak your shared files (e.g. sensitive documents)
