Multi send mode/Import Google Group members into a Google Contacts Label?

Hi,

Gmail’s multi send mode is great but as far as I am aware, it does not work with Google Groups. (I think this is because a group works as a single email address). Multi send does work with Contact Labels though because when you use a label in an email, it extracts the individual email addresses.

So here’s my question: does anyone know how I can easily replicate the group members in a contacts label please? (Without searching for the members individually in Contacts)

I see that you can export group members and import contacts, but it’s getting many contacts into a label in one go that I cannot work out.
