I have have been working on a health-related matter. It is innovative but I find it difficult to disseminate what makes the idea innovative. Would welcome ideas on how to have a breakthrough. To get into more details, I have been working on developing a herbal product which folk medicine practitioners claimed was capable of treating and curing many chronic diseases. It has now been scientifically validated and a convincing proof is that the product named Sorghum bicolor supplement is now listed in drug dictionary of the National Cancer Institute and described as being rich in Polyphenols and phenolic acids with the potential for antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulating and chemopreventive capabilities. High-Performance Computing (HPC) applications are very compute intensive. These are engineering and scientific applications that simulate complex physics / technical / scientific phenomena like weather and climate, drug design and molecular modeling, fluid dynamics and material analysis e.g. in automotive and aerospace applications, and many more. In manufacturing, basically every new product, machine, part, etc. is simulated befor it gets built. And often, these simulations take hours, days, or even weeks to complete on powerful workstations. Now here comes the cloud; with vast computing resources and storage, you can run such simulations on many more servers, in parallel, reducing simulation time by a factor of 10 and more! Still, you have to ‘on-board’ your application to the cloud which in most cases is quite cumbersome, time-consuming, error-prone, and needs a lot of expertise that’s often not available in many companies.
