I’m building a social app with Firebase and had a basic question around database structuring and querying as it relates to posts and “friends” that I was hoping to get some guidance with. ContextI have 2 collections: Users Posts Custom Fields Users have a field called: friends with a field type - List <Doc Reference (users)> Posts have a field called: createdBy with a field type - Doc Reference (users) ChallengeDisplay a feed of posts where the createdBy user is in my friends list?My approachQuerying the posts collection only shows posts where the createdBy value is in my friends list. Expected resultReturn a list of posts only from users in my friends listActual resultA list of posts from all users.QuestionIs there a better way to query this type of request with Firebase? Hi everyone, we’re noticing some errors on our CloudSQL read replica replication process which has been working fine for over a year. Without making any major changes, CloudSQL is starting to log the following errordb=cloudsqladmin,user=cloudsqladmin ERROR: cannot execute CREATE TABLE in a read-only transactionTo my understanding, this a largely GCP CloudSQL managed process as we just configured a read replica. Any advice and where to debug would be great - thanks so much in advance!
We have several internal apps written in nodejs and those guys figured it out pretty easily. But, the go team and I haven’t been able to get it working with those applications. I’ve looked into it quite a bit and I can see why… the documentation is pretty confusing and there aren’t any good 3rd party HOWTOs that explain it. Doesn’t anyone here know how to get it up and running? I can see that there’s a go library for OAUTH in the Google library, but I can’t find enough documentation to make it work. TIA.

Hi,In Vertex AI Jupyter Notebook while trying to do online prediction on my Pytorch model deployed on Vertex endpoint for a Text classification use case , I am getting below error - ServiceUnavailable: 503 502:Bad GatewayI have found there seems to be a limit on the text character and it’s capped to 2500 characters. Please correct me if I am wrong in this. While I am getting output for Input length less than 2500 characters, but for any input more than that I am getting the above error. Please help.
Hi All,I am trying to upload PDF files (few hundred pages each) with different structures and annotate them using in the UI, I've used the provided tool to get a JSONL for my first file. however, every time I provide the URL and try to import the data I receive the below error, I also noticed that the JSONL file has a very small size. I would extremely grateful if someone could guide me toward a solution or provide pertinent resources.Thanks a lot.
While using internal load balancer, scale out event happens (due to traffic metric activation), a new instance is created.At this point I noticed that all existing instances do not get traffic AT ALL from the load balancer for at least 10 seconds (traffic drops to zero).This cause a sever traffic failures to the backend and only after a few minutes when the scale out event completes the old instanced get traffic back.

As an admin on my legacy free edition of workspace I was able to export all users data to cloud storage, but using the same credentials I am unable to access that data. Who does have those permissions???
Can anyone help me to transfer data from one Google workspace account to another?I have 2 Google accounts….the one I use for work is limited data wise to 30 gigs which fast runs out.The other Worksapace account has unlimited data.Other than saving Google photos for example to a hard drive first and then uploading to the unlimited drive I was hoping to find a more direct solution.
Has anyone setup MTA-STS? Would you recommend it?Looks to me like there are some DNS settings to add (easy enough) and then a text file to host on a public facing server which seems a pain if you live in Workspace and don’t have public facing servers - is that about right?Does it cause any issues with domains that don’t use/support MTA-STS or does it just fail over to standatd SMTP?Thanks for your thoughts and inputsGraham

As a reseller we are currently preparing for the transition of the vast majority of our customers over to Google Workspace from G Suite. We have already completed a few this month and the process is smooth. However, I’ve just discovered that Google has removed the Drive Audit log from the Admin Panel for all customers switching to Workspace Business Starter. This seems innocuous until something happens where you really need to discover what has happened to an item in Drive - say a folder is lost or you find out a lot of items have been shared externally. In my line of work we help customers when something happens in Drive which they can’t understand. Not having the Drive Audit available is actually a huge issue in these circumstances. I just don’t understand Google’s logic in withdrawing this and I am annoyed it wasn’t highlighted in the “Switching” information that was made public.I am interested in others views - am I alone in feeling this way? Hi!We are trying to create training job in Vertex.AI and we need to connect with resources in our shared VPC. Project in which we are creating this job is service project. We have VPC with private services access configured already. (as described in https://cloud.google.com/vertex-ai/docs/general/vpc-peering)When we are trying to create a job and use this host network, we get a very generic error message:Unable to start training due to the following error: Internal error encountered.Everything seems alright and peering connection with private services is in active state.Does anyone maybe have an idea where can we look for more information about this problem or maybe some guides or pointers that could help us?

Hi Community We were assessing a service within GCP that would help replication disk level changes (continuously in a synchronous / near synchronous mode) across zones in a given region. Ideally, we are looking for the absolute replacement of CloudEndure which was earlier available within GCP (now acquired and branded within AWS). Based on the little research I carried out, Actifio Go seems to be reasonable choice for this requirement. Have any of you used this tool for such needs (HA / DR) wherein continuous replication was enabled for anytime failover?Appreciate your thoughts and any other recommendations for this requirement CheersVM
