We’re facing two odd (and related) problems: There doesn’t seem to be a way to establish a PTR record for our primary domain’s IP address, as it’s assigned to a GCP load balancer. A reverse lookup for the IP we’re using maps to a .bc.googleusercontent.com domain, and this domain provides a cached, persistent, NON-SSL, and Google indexed version of our side, none of which can be Good.Has anyone had any experience with either of these issues? Thanks!
While using internal load balancer, scale out event happens (due to traffic metric activation), a new instance is created. At this point I noticed that all existing instances do not get traffic AT ALL from the load balancer for at least 10 seconds (traffic drops to zero). This cause a sever traffic failures to the backend and only after a few minutes when the scale out event completes the old instanced get traffic back.
Hi All,I am trying to upload PDF files (few hundred pages each) with different structures and annotate them using in the UI, I've used the provided tool to get a JSONL for my first file. however, every time I provide the URL and try to import the data I receive the below error, I also noticed that the JSONL file has a very small size. I would extremely grateful if someone could guide me toward a solution or provide pertinent resources. Thanks a lot.
Hey all, awesome to be a part of this community! Is anyone here running most of their backend on cloud functions and have any tips on CI/CD and organization of large scale cloud functions backends? Right now we have a fairly robust testing and staging flow but we’re still manually deploying cloud functions because there doesn’t seem to be an intuitive way to automatically deploy the functions and code that has been changed. Has anyone else run into this problem and have any tips and ideas on how to organize projects like this and deploy them at scale. Thanks!
Hello, the container registry is being deprecated and is replaced by the artifact registry. The container registry offers a public images list that can be found here: https://console.cloud.google.com/gcr/images/google-containers Do you know if there is/will be a public images list for the artifact registry? Thanks,Guilhem.
Hi everyone!I'm starting to work with Google Vertex and I had this question regarding the scalability of the endpoints. When I configure an endpoint I must:1) set hardware for the training machine (n1-standard-2, for example);2) set a minimum and maximum number of computer nodes.Number 1 is mandatory and number 2 is optional (if configured, new nodes will only be instantiated with the configuration defined in item 1).What is unclear to me is when I should invest in a larger hardware configuration (1) and when I should invest in a larger number of nodes (2).Does anyone have an idea?Thank you!
Can anyone help me to transfer data from one Google workspace account to another?I have 2 Google accounts….the one I use for work is limited data wise to 30 gigs which fast runs out.The other Worksapace account has unlimited data.Other than saving Google photos for example to a hard drive first and then uploading to the unlimited drive I was hoping to find a more direct solution.
Hi all, I am wondering how other companies with offices in China who use Google Workspace handle working with heir Chinese colleagues. We use a VPN but it’s not amazingly stable and it all really affects my ability to roll out Google Meet and the rest of the suite - China is a growing market for us so it is a pressing issue. I suspect there is no light at the end of the tunnel with Google and China - personally I believe Workspace should split off from the rest of Google and should deal with the China issue separately as there is no logic in bundling all of Google together and blocking off a straightforward productivity channel like Workspace. Companies should be able to assess their own risk. All highly unlikely, so in the meantime if anyone has any advice of Workspace in China that would be really welcomeThanks!

Has anyone setup MTA-STS? Would you recommend it?Looks to me like there are some DNS settings to add (easy enough) and then a text file to host on a public facing server which seems a pain if you live in Workspace and don’t have public facing servers - is that about right?Does it cause any issues with domains that don’t use/support MTA-STS or does it just fail over to standatd SMTP?Thanks for your thoughts and inputsGraham
I live in a retirement community that has a great woodshop. In the shop we now have a very nice laser system and I have been assigned the opportunity of setting up a calendar system that 16 of the 55 members can access to reserve time on the system. The issue that I have is can someone that does not have a google account access a google calendar and how would they do that. I have created at google account on the computer that we use for the laser system and can create the calendar. I think I can then share it with the folks that have gmail accounts but how to access it from the other accounts I have no Idea. Appreciate any help.
Does anybody have a recommended solution that help them securely send content to organizations that block access to Google/Google Drive? Ideally something that can integrate with Google so that our users can easily invoke the solution to send content. Ideally depending on the sensitivity of the content the content may or may not require a login to access, a unique link may suffice.

Having gone through a SOC2 security architecture deployment on GCP over the last 2 years, looking to trade notes with anyone else who has gone through this effort. We leveraged Web-Application-and-API-Protection (WAAP) and configuration monitoring (Dome9) from Checkpoint. But had to go through growing pains as Checkpoint had to port their products to GCP. Wondering if there are any alternatives directly from GCP or other vendors.
