On our computer I have 3 google email addresses. In two of those whenever I open a document and go to print it out there is no icon to allow me to print. What I get is at the top of the page in the center it asks me to open the report usually a pdf with google docs. This does not work for me as what ends up printing out is information that does not follow the formatting. What I would like to know is how do I shut that option off. I know it is some where in the settings but I do not have any idea where to look.A little background the first email address is my personal G mail account. When I go to print an attachment I have the open with google docs in the center of the page but than in the upper right hand corner I have an icon that allows me to print the document. With the second email address there is no icon in the upper right corner to allow me to print the document. All that is there is the open with google docs in the center of the page and a pdf symbol in the upper left hand corner
We got you covered! Check out @dominikkugelmann’s review all about it: On Wednesday, September 8, Google and a handful of their new and established hardware partners launched a new round of Series One Google Meet Hardware equipment. The headliner of this launch (the Series One Board 65) replaces the good old Jamboard, which launched back in 2016 (released in 2017). An open secret of the Jamboard is its operating system. It’s not Chrome OS; it’s rocking Android. In contrast, these new hardware kits are being launched on Chrome OS, allowing for better continuous updates and less fragmentation on the development side. So what’s the deal with these new kits? Read more here:
For many years customers running POSTINI (which later got migrated to Google Vault) had the luxury of having free leaver licenses for those employees who had left the organisation. This free license allowed the business to retain the email data of the ex-employees. Organisations with lengthy POSTINI contracts were later provided Vault Former Employee (VFE) licenses, also for free. Archive User licensesNow that those contracts are coming to an end, Google are moving organisations from VFE to Archive User (AU) licenses, however AU licenses are not free ($4 - Business Plus, $7 - Enterprise Plus, per user per month.)So many organisations are now looking at this data and having conversations around retention rules for ex-employees. As previously discussed migrating emails does not seem to be an option favoured by many. After all, emails are private and personal by design, they should not be migrated to another employee with “insider knowledge” who would browse through 1000’s of emails to f
A bit of a fun post: I just came across the Shaquille O’Neal’s ad for Google Workspace?!I’m curious whether this is a first or do you know whether Google has ever done big mainstream ads like this for Workspace? Hello, guys, I have an issue after sending an Easter message to a mailing list formed using Google labels, in the Contact section of gmail. In spite of having added the emails by adding the name of the Label in the Bcc section of the email, the recipients have seen the other mail addresses introduced in Bcc, together with their own. Hence, all recipients have seen the huge email list. Why doesn’t Bcc work with labels? Is there anything I could do to avoid this in the future? Many thanks, Filothea

Can anyone help me to transfer data from one Google workspace account to another?I have 2 Google accounts….the one I use for work is limited data wise to 30 gigs which fast runs out.The other Worksapace account has unlimited data.Other than saving Google photos for example to a hard drive first and then uploading to the unlimited drive I was hoping to find a more direct solution.
Hello I'm a university student on Digital Game Design. I couldn't find how to directly reach to tell my advice so I have taken this approach, so sorry for possibly misusing this website. We get a lot of e-mails from different places each day and the inbox can be overwhelming to face with. My idea is that maybe we can have Gmail automatically categorize our e-mails. We already have spamming system so I am assuming that means that somewhere in the source code there is a method which checks if the e-mail is related or not. We can also create our own folders for categorizing purposes. So it would be extremely helpful if we could maybe tag the related e-mail adres input to guide it to the related folder, so that instead of having lots of e-mails on one folder we could have it in different ones.I have been using Gmail for 6 or 7 years now and I am really glad for all your hard work, however I didn't come across any property such as this one. If there was such feature implemented, I am very so
Hi all, I am wondering how other companies with offices in China who use Google Workspace handle working with heir Chinese colleagues. We use a VPN but it’s not amazingly stable and it all really affects my ability to roll out Google Meet and the rest of the suite - China is a growing market for us so it is a pressing issue. I suspect there is no light at the end of the tunnel with Google and China - personally I believe Workspace should split off from the rest of Google and should deal with the China issue separately as there is no logic in bundling all of Google together and blocking off a straightforward productivity channel like Workspace. Companies should be able to assess their own risk. All highly unlikely, so in the meantime if anyone has any advice of Workspace in China that would be really welcomeThanks!

In 2018, Google achieved 12 consecutive years of carbon neutrality and, for the second year in a row, matched 100% of the electricity consumption of our global operations with renewable energy. Then, it announced the goal to power operations with carbon-free energy, 24x7, 365 days a year. Currently, Google Cloud data centers use a blend of renewable and nonrenewable energy. Carbon emissions, for example, the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) into the atmosphere, are part and parcel of performing any kind of activity at the data center. However, Google Cloud is helping customers like us understand this information in a consumable format, so we can check the environmental footprint of the data centers in which we host their applications. What does this information mean for us, and how can we help make our applications friendlier to Earth while working on an optimum performance?
Has anyone setup MTA-STS? Would you recommend it?Looks to me like there are some DNS settings to add (easy enough) and then a text file to host on a public facing server which seems a pain if you live in Workspace and don’t have public facing servers - is that about right?Does it cause any issues with domains that don’t use/support MTA-STS or does it just fail over to standatd SMTP?Thanks for your thoughts and inputsGraham
