Software Deployment that works nice with Workspace?

We have Workspace Enterprise and ~300 pcs. Currently I’m running around with a USB making them all company owned devices and putting GCPW & Drive for Desktop on them so we can ditch local admin accounts on all the PCs. I’ve only been here a couple months so don’t blame me for the previous setup but it is my problem to fix.We were 50 people and 30 PCs 3 years ago and now are 300 and 500 so we need to start acting like a real IT department sooner rather than later because we’re growing. No AD or anything, Workspace and a remote desktop support software are our only real tools so far. And Workspace Enterprise wasn’t until Jan or Feb. I’m really just a “help desk” type job and the company has no other IT people besides a couple other help desk like myself so designing and rolling out some big huge changes is a help desk duty here.. heh.After I’m done with that I’d like to make the next deployment much easier and explore in depth the kinds of management tools that the admin panel

Threadit will be turned down on Dec. 19, 2022

Good news, bad news story. Looks like Google are turning down Threadit in Dec this year. For those who don’t know about ThreadIt, it allows teams to exchange ideas and conversations via short video recordings, similar to Loom. For individuals who are time poor Threadit is a great way of providing feedback or an update when schedules don’t align. The good news is that the Threadit team are joining Google Workspace, so hopefully we will see some functionality coming to Google Meet / Chat that will allow for short video sharing.

Looking for a recommendation: Sharing files with organizations that block Google.

Does anybody have a recommended solution that help them securely send content to organizations that block access to Google/Google Drive? Ideally something that can integrate with Google so that our users can easily invoke the solution to send content. Ideally depending on the sensitivity of the content the content may or may not require a login to access, a unique link may suffice.

From one Workspace to another, transfer data.

Can somebody assist me in moving data between Google workplace accounts?I have two Google accounts; the one I use for work has a data cap of 30 gigabytes, which quickly exhausts.The data on the other Worksapace account is limitless.I was expecting to find a more straightforward approach rather than, for instance, storing Google Photos on a hard drive first before uploading to the unlimited storage. I want to share my website data from one workspace to another.

Google Workspace VS. Microsoft 365 Survey: Tomorrow's workforce prefers Google

SADA commissioned a survey with an independent research firm, College Pulse, targeting 750 students at 52 colleges across America, and the results are in: these students preferred Google Workspace by a long shot. Google account suspended

Google suspended my cloud account , they say that I work in crypto mining with google cloud RDP ,I just use RDP to Install some suspicious apps and programs .Now all my projects are suspended , and I don’t Have time .Please I need you help.

Cannot recover an account (nadiyaravi6@gmail.com) using my registered recovery phone number.

I had an MotoG 5 setup with my gmail account. I sold the phone and got Samsung Note8 but forgot to update the gmail recovery (prior to getting a new phone) to add a secondary google authenticator on a different device. So now, if I do a recovery - when prompted to enter a code sent via a text to the registered phone number it accepts the code sent to the Samsung Note8 with the same (retained) phone number. Then when prompted for the google authenticator code - at this point I select try another way, then I was prompted to send a verification code to my recovery email which again I forgot the recovery email provided. I tried all the options by clicking on try another way but nothing works. I have been trying all the possible way to get back my account but am helpless. I need access to my email so bad and it's been years now since I last accessed it. NOTE : I have applied for Visa and my bank account is tagged to email id - xxxxxxxx and I would be receiving the email notification to th

How do I stop gmail from wanting me to open google docs

On our computer I have 3 google email addresses. In two of those whenever I open a document and go to print it out there is no icon to allow me to print. What I get is at the top of the page in the center it asks me to open the report usually a pdf with google docs. This does not work for me as what ends up printing out is information that does not follow the formatting.What I would like to know is how do I shut that option off. I know it is some where in the settings but I do not have any idea where to look.A little background the first email address is my personal G mail account. When I go to print an attachment I have the open with google docs in the center of the page but than in the upper right hand corner I have an icon that allows me to print the document.With the second email address there is no icon in the upper right corner to allow me to print the document. All that is there is the open with google docs in the center of the page and a pdf symbol in the upper left hand corner

Data Regions Update: Thanks for the Knowledge Share Everyone!

Hi All! In our coffee chat this morning, @Nina Trankova brought this update to everyone’s attention.I wanted to share a bit of a summary that I learned today:@andy.yates mentioned that having all data in the EU ensures that it is safer than most (cough, United States, cough) regions.@PrashantB mentioned that India’s regulations are quite strict as well.@alfonsmr admitted that American regulations...being pretty loose...allow for a lot more freedom and you can get to work faster.@ChristianNewman informed us that data is always constantly crossing oceans anyways. It is just where your data is at rest that is the key here.

The headliner of this launch (the Series One Board 65) replaces the good old Jamboard, which launched back in 2016 (released in 2017). An open secret of the Jamboard is its operating system. It’s not Chrome OS; it’s rocking Android. In contrast, these new hardware kits are being launched on Chrome OS, allowing for better continuous updates and less fragmentation on the development side. For many years customers running POSTINI (which later got migrated to Google Vault) had the luxury of having free leaver licenses for those employees who had left the organisation. This free license allowed the business to retain the email data of the ex-employees. Organisations with lengthy POSTINI contracts were later provided Vault Former Employee (VFE) licenses, also for free. Archive User licensesNow that those contracts are coming to an end, Google are moving organisations from VFE to Archive User (AU) licenses, however AU licenses are not free ($4 - Business Plus, $7 - Enterprise Plus, per user per month.)So many organisations are now looking at this data and having conversations around retention rules for ex-employees. As previously discussed migrating emails does not seem to be an option favoured by many. I add comments to a translation in a Word document which I attach and send with my Gmail account. The recipient opens the attachment and all the comments are resolved and my comments are gone. (In other words, my comments have changed the translation)

Hi there, from Azores Islands! i need some help in a formula .for example :i have 3 columns , column A with 20 possible text codes , B with 70 possible number codes and C with 35 price values.Once i type, in another cell , one text code that exists in column A, and in another cell ,one number code that exists in column B , i want to be returned a specific price value in another cell. hope could get some help. thanks ,Jason
