Hello,

yesterday I encountered problem where chrome_debug.log (C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Google\DriveFS\Logs) completely filled my local disk space to 100%. Does anybody have this kind of experience? Does anybody know what can cause such a situation? Any solution? Thank you for all your replies in advance.

I’ve seen something like this before caused by a trying to run Drive for desktop in a SYSTEM user context, as an unintended side effect of a deployment script. The log file was almost entirely repeating errors trying to use graphics (SYSTEM user contexts don’t have access to the GUI). Another case was caused by running the app as a scheduled task, which can have similar restrictions.

In both cases the solution was to make sure you’re only running DFD in a normal user context (launch the app yourself or automatically on login)

Do either of those sound like they’d be applicable to you?

Hi @Stepan_Smart.

Have you checked @lcannatti’s post?
