google software issue; Software overrides orders sends products to old address, wrong address

many google fi customers are having their products sent to their old address, even after they believe they have updated info, and selected their new address on google fi order forms.

info shared across google platforms will Add address info, and not update or change it across all platforms. So changing the address in a profile of a single platform (such as Google Fi), will only add a new addresses to a list, but NOT change any address on that list.  The customer, however, is given the impression that the info was updated when in fact it was only added to a list of addresses.

Here is the problem; phone products need to be sent to your legal address, but when you try to tell google fi to send it to your new address, the google platform will override your selection on a sales order and send it to the address you have first registered assuming it is your legal address.   

customers, customer support, teams and specialists don’t understand this is a software issue, and are assuming that the customer is at fault.
