Hi, all. When I open any of my Google Docs, regardless of type, they will freeze my Chrome Browser and all open tabs for about :20-:30 secs. Then, they begin to function normally until I close and re open, and the condition then repeats. This issue began about a month after I upgraded to Monterey, but doesn’t seem to have been the direct cause, as the documents functioned normally for a while.I have uninstalled and re installed Google Drive. I have left the synced file directory on my hard drive at it’s default install location. I have not reinstalled Chrome, but regularly clear the Cache. I have not reinstalled the OS, as all other program apps are functioning normal.Conditions:Persists whether I open a file from synced hard drive or directly from Google Drive online Persists from different locations, different Service Providers, different routers. No one else that shares these files experience this condition. From my new 2021 Macbook Pro laptop, I do not experience any of these con
Hello, yesterday I encountered problem where chrome_debug.log (C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Google\DriveFS\Logs) completely filled my local disk space to 100%. Does anybody have this kind of experience? Does anybody know what can cause such a situation? Any solution? Thank you for all your replies in advance. Stepan
Yesterday, as I began to select a recipient for a GMAIL message under “TO”, I typed the first letter of the recipient, and a very strange recipient address appeared, consisting of many characters, but having a definitive ( .com ) location at the end? I became curious, and checked my GMAIL contacts to see if this address was there. After scrolling through my entire contact list, I did not find the strange contact? How could this unknown contact have appeared in my recipient choices, but not in my contact list? Thanks,Careful User

As a reseller we are currently preparing for the transition of the vast majority of our customers over to Google Workspace from G Suite. We have already completed a few this month and the process is smooth. However, I’ve just discovered that Google has removed the Drive Audit log from the Admin Panel for all customers switching to Workspace Business Starter. This seems innocuous until something happens where you really need to discover what has happened to an item in Drive - say a folder is lost or you find out a lot of items have been shared externally. In my line of work we help customers when something happens in Drive which they can’t understand. Not having the Drive Audit available is actually a huge issue in these circumstances. I just don’t understand Google’s logic in withdrawing this and I am annoyed it wasn’t highlighted in the “Switching” information that was made public.I am interested in others views - am I alone in feeling this way? Are there other workarounds out there f

Hello C2C community!I'm working on add-on for Google Workspace Marketplace and faced with an issue during publishing it in GCP Marketplace SDK. During my self-investigation of publication, I made the first try of publishing and in App Configuration I selected "Private" App Visibility,. I tested the add-on and decided to make it public in Marketplace, went back to configuration, and was terribly surprised that I couldn't change App Visibility. Is there any possibility to change it? Creating a new project in GCP is not a suitable option for us, because we have a tight relation to configured GCP Project: OAuth, domain, and logo. Any help would be appriciated.
In an "if, then, else" formula, is there a way to make the "else" do nothing. I'm trying to store a value at a certain time, and hold that value. My existing formula is =IF(AND($E$16=7,$F$16=12,$H$16=25+F$1,$I$16=11),C2). It collects the valuecorrectly at 5.00 on the 25th of the 11th. But at 5.01, it substitutes "FALSE" for the value. If I add IF(AND($E$16=7,$F$16=12,$H$16=25+F$1,$I$16=11),C2,””) as the “else” it blanks the data as soon as the time is up.Many thanks

Over the past year, the speed of new Workspace features rolling-out was extremely high. Also going forward, I see a great pipeline of new features coming to G Workspace - speed of new features remains high. How can we as company customers best support our colleagues to 'digest'/apply all these new tools? Any secret recipe? 😉 As I see some in our organization are struggling a lot with this

Dear C2C Google Workspace members,While experiencing the Translate Captions functionality in Meet meetings I though about the possible use cases professionals might benefit implementing it, to list a few: safety and health instructions to foreign groups of workers and employee social centers helping people in disaster areas or immigrants; meeting parents who don't speak English in schools and kindergartens. onboarding instructions due to be deliverd to groups visiting data centers, manufacturing facilities, cmpuses etc. welcome conversation in English teachingWhat else would you add to the list? How do you envision the future of Translate captions fuctionality - are all languages going to be added? What is needed in your immediate work now and in the future? Here's the video (2:16) demonstrating the automated translation available in Beta with Google Meet Translate Captions feature. From the setting while in Google Meet select Captions and choose the language you want the automated tr

Did you hear? Microsoft is bringing this back! Microsoft is bringing back Google Wave, the doomed real-time messaging and collaboration platform Google launched in 2009 and prematurely shuttered in 2010.Maybe we should’ve seen this coming. Back in 2019, Microsoft announced the Fluid Framework (not to be confused with the Fluent design system). The idea here was nothing short of trying to re-invent the nature of business documents and how developers build real-time applications. Last year, the company open-sourced Fluid and started building it into a few of its own Office applications. Today, at its Ignite conference, it’s launching a whole new product built on top of Fluid: Microsoft Wave Loop.Loop is a new app — and concept — that takes the Fluid framework, which provides developers with flexible components to mix and match in order to create real-time editing-based applications, to create a new experience for users to collaborate on documents. In many ways, that was also the promise
It has been several weeks since I’ve been able to access Google Maps on my MacBook Air (Dec 2020, latest OS). The consistent message is:“We are sorry, but you do not have access to Google Maps. Please contact your Organization Administrator for access.”Folks, it would seem that I am the Organization Administrator. I have tried contacting me, but I am not giving myself any helpful answers. Thanks!
