Hi all! So I just got the new iPad pro (the 2020 edition with the M1 chip), to use as a laptop for school. My windows laptop finally crashed after 4 or 5 years of use throughout high-school, so I needed a replacement. I decided I wanted an Apple because I’m going into a Graphics Degree and all of my professors are telling me to get an apple. I decided to go with the iPad pro over the Macbook because I wanted to be able to use an apple pencil for PhotoShop. Not too many issues with the apple pencil so far, just some software based issues since it’s an iPad and not a an actual laptop. So far, I’ve been able to work around all of my software based issues…except for in google drive installments… I love Google drive and their docs app. So much so that I’ve barely used Word since I was introduced to Google Docs in middle school. I use the docs app the most of all the drive apps, as it is a key part of my student life. Notes, Papers, Class Assignments, Personal Projects, etc. You name it, and
I work for a large organization where we are looking to manage accounts for access to google products. We cannot give up our domain to Google Workspace but we need the user role based control that workspace offers. We would also like to use SSO through O365. What have other companies done in this scenario for Google Product role based access by an admin account?

Using Google on an Android phone, is there a way to manually have Google cycle the stories displayed? I use Google from my Android phone and it used to cycle new stories based on my interests many times every day. It cycled too often for me.Then about 4 months ago it changed and started cycling new stories about once every day. Over the following 4 months it gradually decreased the cycle frequency so now it cycles about once every 4 days, sometimes 5 days. The other problem is that it displays 3.5 stories. I can scroll through the list of stories and see the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stories and half of the 4th story. If I scroll down further to fully see the 4th story Google aborts. I can touch each of those stories (even the 4th) and it brings up that story where I can scroll fully and then exit back to the 3.5 stories but on the original screen I can only scroll down to see half of the 4th story. If I scroll further Google aborts with NO error messages displayed. Months ago, after this cha

Hi! Today I want to log in on Gmail. But when I enter the password the site redirected to a page and want me to enter a captcha. After entering the captcha correctly, it shows a error messege: “Please re-enter the characters...”. Even if mentioning the captcha correctly more than 10 times, it gives same error again and again. Please help me out!
What’s your experience using Microsoft plug-ins on either platform?Excerpt from this Meet vs. Zoom eBook states:“Zoom offers plugins that enable the platform to integrate with Microsoft Outlook and Teams so that Zoom meetings will show up in Microsoft users’ calendars. However, because of Google Meet’s integration with the rest of Google Workspace, Meet takes things much further.Easy-to-use plugins make it simple for mixed GoogleMicrosoft teams to coordinate their calendars and schedule meetings. The Google Meet add-in for Microsoft Outlook enables Microsoft users to add Meet video conferencing details to their Outlook calendars, while the Google Calendar Interop tool enables team members to view each others’ schedules and book meeting times. The big differentiator happens when a mixed GoogleMicrosoft team wants to collaborate on content during a meeting. Using the Office editing feature, Google users can easily access, edit, and even collaborate on Office files right in Google Docs, Sh

New Drive Beta that support Folder moves to Shared Drives. (Woohoo) https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2021/09/new-beta-experience-for-admins-to-move-folders-to-shared-drives.html Moving folders from My Drive to a Shared Drive has been a problem, this is due to the Folder ID’s being changed as the move process actually creates a new Folder, and then moves the files. So when admins move folders, the existing folder IDs change, existing links to these folders can break, and impacts on shared drive limits are unclear. Google has just announced a new Drive beta, were folder IDs will not change and moves that can potentially exceed any shared drive limits will be rejected. This beta will add several usability enhancements including: Retaining folder IDs (“copyless moves”) to reduce disruption due to the move Preventing moves that would exceed any shared drive limits Reparenting any unmovable items under the item owner's My Drive root, and creating shortcuts in the existing hierarchy
We recently were asked to deploy Exclaimer Cloud Signatures to a Google Workspace with multiple domains and have a different signature on each domain, with different logos and designs. After reaching out to Exclaimer they said it couldn't be done... I am very stubborn and didn't like that answer, so I solved it. I made a video that might help you if you have the same issue. And I hope it helps someone.
Do you know if you are sharing files the right way? Tricent is co-hosting a free webinar next Thursday where @chanelgreco, Google Workspace Educator and C2C Community Manager, will reveal how to solve the 5 biggest sharing concerns in Google Workspace.Shared Folders vs. Shared Drives? How should you manage your shared files and folders? Sharing files the wrong way could lead to some serious (and expensive) consequences - such as GDPR penalties or data leakages.
