Value Calculators to measure impact of google workspace

Google has come out with an interesting value calculator to measure impact of google workspace. I would love to better understand if there are other tools out there that you like to use to help drive use case development within your organization to adopt more google workspace.

What are on your Google Chat wishlist?

The general consensus is that people have love/hate relationship with Google Chat. When Slack had outage at the beginning of the year, many Slack organizations had no choice but to resort to Chat as a backup. Compared to Slack/MS Teams, there are many areas of improvements for Chat. What are some of the items on your wishlist?I will start.Ability to delete rooms More admin controls (who can created rooms, who can post, who can leave, etc., similar to how Google released updated settings for Groups back in 2019)  Ability for admins to see the group email addresses associated with each room Updated API

Google Workspace Easy to Use

Google Workspace is certainly a flexible solution in all industries thus unifyng tech professionals, educators and tech lovers. I find Google Workspace easy to use because one needs to resolve a single challenge, the decision to define and put into action a collaboration. For my OnEBoard project I worked on a couple of issues with Google Support. I learned to not overcomplicate things but ask relevant questions and move one step at a time. Without coding OnEBoard took me 10 months from start to launch with Google Workspace and a dedicated team of collaborators.   I'm continuing to explore easy solutions such as having a conversation in native languages while in Meet. using live captions and Translate feature in Chrome. What is your experience with Google Workspace easy implementations?

Workspace is made for remote working - Tech HQ article

I thought this article from Tech HQ really nailed with @ChristianNewman and team was getting at during the Talk last week. Take a look at the Tech HQ article.  Some of the features it highlights that demonstrate how the product is focusing on remote work are as follows:Google Assistant where users can now use their voice to ask Google what’s next on their calendar or to quickly join a meeting and send a message.  Recurring ‘out-of-office’ events where users will be able to schedule regular, recurring out-of-office blocks.  Second screen experiences in Google Meet where users can host meetings across a mix of devices. What do you think about them? What's should Google's approach be to Employee Engagement?

Many of us have been working from home during the past 12 months, and as we start to see signs that the world is getting back to normal, it’s unlikely that knowledge working will even be the same again. Different ways of creating groups

Google currently has many ways to create groups and different types of groups.Groups created by admin using Admin SDK or admin.google.com Groups created on groups.google.com Security Group created using Cloud Identity Groups API Dynamic Group created in admin.google.comDepending on how the groups were created and the type of the group, what you can or cannot do as an admin may vary.
